Hello my friends,
November is traditionally the month for Tellabration! A night of storytelling! It is also, of course, the month when we celebrate Thanksgiving. We celebrate both events with stories. Have you ever been to a Thanksgiving dinner where there were no stories? If you have, it must have been a sad occasion indeed. There may be some gossiping, some bragging, maybe even some lying. We share our stories of gratitude. I am so grateful for my family and my friends. So many of my friends are storytellers. Tellabration! is such a wonderful time to listen to our friends tell stories. Will you be telling a story for Tellabration? I will. Happy Thanksgiving and Happy Tellabration!
This year three organizations will join with the National Storytelling Network to celebrate Tellabration on November 19th . The organizations are River and Prairie Storyweavers, Missouri Storytelling Inc. and Gateway Storytellers. The storytellers, friends, are listed below.
