A Note from the President

Updated: Feb 8

Hello my friends,

It is with great sadness that I greet you today. Cristi Rose, daughter of Jim “Two Crows” Wallen, our former board member, was called home to her Maker on May 31, 2022. She was a bright and shining star, a beautiful woman, mother, grandmother, wife, daughter, aunt, cousin and friend. She filled the world with her spirit and love.

I have known Cristi and Aaron, Jim and Deb for over thirty years. They have been close friends. Now Cristi and Deb have passed on and there is a hole left by their passings. Our hearts ache for those left behind. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

I know some people have been procrastinating regarding the Liars Contest applications. We have extended the deadline to June 9, 11:59 pm. Be sure to get yours to us in time. The rules are on the website, www.mo-tell.org.

Check this newsletter for more information about the event and the place. Visit St. Louis for the Liars Contest and make it a weekend getaway. There is so much that St. Louis offers its visitors. Come for the tales and stay for the rest!

The MO-TELL board will pre-entertain you with a few lies in our June 10 show on Zoom.

Keep your stories alive,

Joyce Slater
